POCO X3 specifications, renders, and launch date leaked

POCO X3 specifications, renders, and launch date have been leaked in a report by MiuiTurkiye. The POCO X3 is set to be the next major smartphone from the brand and the name was confirmed this week by Angus Kai Ho Ng, Product Marketing Manager for POCO. The leaked report gives us a pretty good idea of what the POCO X2 successor will look like. In fact, the design is similar to the sketch of the POCO M2007J20CG model that recently appeared on the FCC website. The report also mentions the POCO X3 launch date as September 8th.

Starting off with what we know officially, the POCO executive in a tweet confirmed the name POCO X3 NFC and showed off four different rear camera designs, one of which would resemble the final camera design on the smartphone. Interestingly, none of the designs precisely resemble the camera setup shared by MiuiTurkiye.

Coming to the report, MiuiTurkiye showed off renders of the alleged POCO X3, revealing a 64MP quad-camera setup in a circular camera module. The placement of the camera sensors is slightly different from the one seen in the images shared by the POCO executive. The POCO X3 will get a center-aligned punch-hole display.

The report claims that the upcoming POCO X3 will be powered by the unannounced Snapdragon 732 chipset. It adds that the Snapdragon 732 SoC is an 8nm chipset clocked at up to 2.3GHz and equipped with the Adreno 619 GPU. The phone will have a 6.67-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is likely an LCD panel as the renders show a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The POCO X3 is said to sport a 20MP selfie camera, 5,160mAh battery, and 33W fast charging. These are unconfirmed specifications, so it would be wise to consider them with a pinch of salt.
