The Redmi 9C is Xiaomi’s entry level offering that won’t cost you a bomb. It gets a decent processor to manage day to day workload, a bigger 5000mAh battery, a fingerprint scanner and support for dual 4G VoLTE.
Design and Display
The Redmi 9C features a 6.53inch IPS LCD panel with a screen resolution of 720×1600 pixels. It comes with a water drop notch and a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. There’s a triple camera setup on rear and a single camera on the front.
The Redmi 9C features a triple rear camera setup on the rear consisting of a 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front the device gets a 5MP selfie shooter. The Redmi 9C can record videos upto 1080p resolution.
Performance and Battery
The Redmi 9C is driven by Mediatek’s Helio G35 chipset. It is an octa-core chipset coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The device comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of on-board storage, which is expandable upto 512GB via MicroSD. A 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery powers the Redmi 9C.
Software and Connectivity
The Redmi 9C runs MIUI11 on top of Android 10. In terms of connectivity, the device has support for dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS.
